Recently, researchers at the University of Maryland School of Medicine published findings that reveal women have the biological makeup to talk more than men because of the presence of heightened levels of specific proteins found to be linked to speech and language development portion of the brain. After further experimentation and analysis, however, it was discovered that the auditory functions in men decrease during prolonged exposure (between two and three minutes) to a woman’s consistent verbal excretions. Researchers explained that a chemical reaction is triggered inside the male brain to gradually reduces the amount of electrical synapses which control the ability of the ears to take in information through sound. In addition, scientists also found that should such information enter the ear canal, the brain surrounds itself with a chemical barrier, thereby preventing any comprehension from occurring.
This biological occurrence, now labeled by some as a “natural defense mechanism to male sanity” is not without exceptions. According to the results of several independent testing facilities, certain key words or phrases will permeate these chemical and electrical safeguards, causing male attentiveness to reach its maximum efficiency level. Of course, there are certain words or phrases that cause near instantaneous auditory shutdown. While efforts are being made to create a complete listing, the following has been confirmed throughout the scientific community:
