Perhaps Beyonce’s 2008 Single Ladies was actually a prediction of the damaging power of video games to relationships? Regardless, this week’s release of the Call of Duty: Ghosts teaser trailer ensures that there will still be plenty of single ladies on the dating market for the foreseeable future.
With the release, Activision CEO Gilbert Hopper expressed nothing but optimism and excitement. “We’re not giving away too much yet, but this game will give gamers the world over plenty of reasons to choose hours and hours of non-stop gaming over dating. This should take away a lot of the competition out there, leaving the rest of us plenty of hot tail to find.”
Though industry experts are unsure whether more girls will leave their boyfriends or simply men will cease dating, the experts do agree that a lot of attractive girls in the 18-34 range can be expected to hit the dating market come November 5th.
Non-gamers lauded the teaser trailer and what to expect.
“This game looks wonderful” said non-gaming 26 year old accountant Jim Owens. “With these stunning visuals, in depth storyline, and addicting online multiplayer mode, I won’t have to compete against half the men my age to meet girls at the bar.”
Though there are still six months until the release, people can begin reserving copies for anyone they may perceive as a potential romantic rival.
